Our Services
Medical Devices:
A medical device can be any instrument, apparatus, implement, machine, appliance, implant, reagent for in vitro use, software, material, or another similar or related article, intended by the manufacturer to be used, alone or in combination, for a medical treatment or diagnosis of disease. Scopus provides full clinical research service for device studies from initial design to final submission and close out. With 10 years of medical device experience in many regions a full understanding of regulatory requirements for device trial development.
Pharmaceuticals:
Pharmaceuticals is a term used for companies that are involved in the manufacturing, sale, purchase, and marketing of pharmaceutical-related products, medicines, drugs, raw materials, etc.
With over 20 years experience in pharmaceutical research, Scopus provides full clinical research service for pharmaceutical studies from study design to final submission and close out.
Supplements:
A product that is added to the diet. A nutritional supplement, usually contains one or more dietary ingredients (such as vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, and enzymes). Also called a dietary supplement. With over 5 years experience in dietary supplements regulation and trial conduct Scopus provides full service for supplemental companies from design to final submission.
Markers:
A substance found in tissue, blood, bone marrow, or other body fluids that may be a sign of cancer or certain benign (noncancer) conditions. Many tumor markers are proteins made by both normal cells and cancer cells, but they are made in higher amounts by cancer cells. Markers are used in clinical research to optimize targeted therapies in different indications. Scopus provides extended experience in marker research both as stand alone new marker research and in combination of targeted therapy.
Phase 0-4 Studies:
Phase 1 trials are the earliest phase and are usually scoped to assess subject safety. Phases
2 and 3 are conducted in larger scale to assess subject safety and efficacy. Phase 4 trials are
larger studies performed after the drug has been licensed. Phase 0 studies are small studies
used for proof of concept, first in human for safety assessment and on occasions to determine
recommended dose. In medical device the study phases starts with pilot studies and progress
up to stage 4. Scopus is experienced in all study phases including first in human (FiH) and up
to post approval phase 4 studies.
Diagnostic Devices:
Medical devices can be classified as diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
Diagnostic devices are devices used to identify the nature or cause of a certain phenomenon, usually related to a medical condition.
Diagnostic devices are used to diagnose and monitor the vital parameters derived from the body.
The diagnostic devices include such devices as a thermometer, BioSignal recording instruments (ECG, EEG, EMG, and so on), glucometer, pulse oximeter, and patient monitoring system.
Examples of diagnostic devices are magnetic resonance imaging apparatuses, temperature sensors, or pacemakers. Scopus provides full diagnostic device research services from study design to final submission.
Observational Study:
A type of study in which individuals are observed or certain outcomes are measured.
No attempt is made to affect the outcome (for example, no treatment is given). This studies are strictly collection and analysis of existing data. Scopus provides observational study design, execution and data collection.
Digital Health:
Digital health is a discipline that includes digital care programs, technologies with health, healthcare, living, and society to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery and to make medicine more personalized and precise.
Digital health technologies use computing platforms, connectivity, software, and sensors for health care and related uses.
To support development and incorporation of Digital health services in the clinical settings Scopus provides Digital health development as an individual platform or in combination in clinical trials.
Combination products :
Combination products are therapeutic and diagnostic products that combine drugs, devices, and/or biological products. Scopus provides experienced combination products clinical trial services from study design to final submission.
